The 16th Region girls basketball tournament is set to begin tonight at 6:30 with Boyd County-Russell followed by East Carter-Rowan County at Morehead State University.

However, with the recent winter storm, road conditions are an issue.

Tournament staff and school officials will reach a decision by 11 a.m. Tuesday on whether or not games will tip off as scheduled.
