COLUMBIA Taylor Blevins and Gracie Crowe combined on a seven-inning no-hitter with 18 strikeouts Sunday to keep Boyd County’s 8-10 softball Little All-Stars unbeaten at the state tournament.

Boyd County scored three runs in the top of the seventh for a 4-1 win over South Laurel at Joe Johnson Little League Park.

Blevins struck out 16 batters in six innings. Crowe came on to pitch the seventh and picked up a save.

Ally Adkins paced the offense, scoring twice and also driving in two runs as Boyd County moved to 2-0 in the double-elimination tournament. Savannah Henderson tripled and scored a run.

Boyd County is scheduled to play Russell County tonight.

In the 10-12 division, Boyd County’s game Sunday night was rained out.
