Quilt represents

Kentucky counties

The Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives,  Kentucky Extension Homemakers Association and the U.S. Census Bureau will showcase the 2020 U.S. Census Quilt.

The quilt will travel across the Commonwealth to highlight each county’s significance.

The 2020 Kentucky Census Quilt was unveiled at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah and after touring the state, will be on display in the KDLA lobby in Frankfort.

The U.S. Census occurs once every decade to track the shifts in population across our country. KDLA encourages every Kentuckian to visit their loal public library to complete the online census questionnaire.

KDLA provides equitable access to quality library and information resources and services, as well as helps public agencies ensure that legislatively mandated documentation of government programs is created, efficiently maintained and made accessibly.
