Library branch plans craft night
The Flatwoods branch of the Greenup County Public Library will have craft night from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Crafts offered will include soap making, personalized cutting boards and bird feeders.

The Ashland Senior Center’s Love Offering project will continue through Nov. 22.
The center discontinued its annual auction, replacing it with the Love Offering, which seeks donations to the center.
Director Kim Rice said the auction, the center’s largest fundraiser, averaged $2,000 of income.
The center also will have a rummage sale during regular hours Nov. 15.
The center is at 324 15th St.
The Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives, Kentucky Extension Homemakers Association and the U.S. Census Bureau will showcase the 2020 U.S. Census Quilt.
The quilt will travel across the Commonwealth to highlight each county’s significance.
The 2020 Kentucky Census Quilt was unveiled at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah and after touring the state, will be on display in the KDLA lobby in Frankfort.
The U.S. Census occurs once every decade to track the shifts in population across our country. KDLA encourages every Kentuckian to visit their loal public library to complete the online census questionnaire.
