Center starts Love Offering

The Ashland Senior Center’s Love Offering project is underway and will continue through Nov. 22.

The center discontinued its annual auction, replacing it with the Love Offering, which seeks donations to the center.

Director Kim Rice said the auction, the center’s largest fundraiser, averaged $2,000 of income.

“Let’s try and break that goal,” she said. “Remember, this is your center and this is a project of paying it forward.”

The center also will have a rummage sale during regular hours Nov. 15.

The center is at 324 15th St.
