ASHLAND An Ashland woman was arraigned in Boyd County District Court on Monday on attempted murder after police said she retrieved a shotgun to shoot her husband.
Julie Ann Crawford, 32, was arrested by the Boyd County Sheriff's Department at a residence on Meade Springer Road at approximately 9 p.m. Friday on the charge of attempted murder and domestic violence charges, according to a press release sent by Sgt. J. Delaney of the Boyd County Sheriff’s Department.
Crawford was arraigned in Boyd County District Court and her bond was set at $50,000, according to court records. Crawford will appear in court for a pre-trial conference on October 9 at 1 p.m. in Boyd County District Court.
Crawford remains lodged at the Boyd County Detention Center.
