ASHLAND – Two Hearts Pregnancy Care Center will be hosting a “pro-life chain” on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Winchester Avenue.
Rebecca Clear, Director of Center Services at Two Hearts Pregnancy Care Center, said that the event is a prayerful and silent event.
“It's a pro-life chain,” said Clear. “We hold pro-life signs as well.”
“This is just a public witness of pro-life americans,” said Clear. “We stand in honor of the 61 million lives lost in abortion since the passing of Roe vs. Wade. It's a national event.”
Clear said that there will also be one in Greenup County on Laurel Street and Hickory Street, and Louisa on Main Street, and Grayson in front of Kentucky Christian University. All pro-life chains will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
“If someone wants to come out, they can bring lawn chairs or umbrellas,” said Clear. “We will provide signs. We welcome children and strollers.”
