The Kentucky Blood Center conducted a successful blood drive at King’s Daughters Medical Center’s Lexington Avenue garage on Wednesday. Even while using social-distancing restrictions, KBC managed to secure 76 units, which can save 228 lives.
There were so many donors that several walk-ins had to be turned away. The next drive is scheduled for Thursday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ashland Town Center Mall. Visit kybloodcenter.org for more information.
