ASHLAND A new business in the city has the noble mission of assisting children overcome speech barriers.

Elisabeth Camp-Germann, a speech language pathologist, has opened Tri-State Speech Therapy.

“I have a ton of passion for this,” said Camp-Germann. “I think God put this in my heart.”

The business offers on-site services for patients who would like to work within the comforts of their own home, or in the social environment of their preschool or school.

Tri-State Speech Therapy is at 2312 13th St., Suite A, will be able to provide speech therapy for individuals of all ages, including pediatric patients which is a need in the local disability community.

Camp-Germann moved here from Florida where she had her own private practice for six years.

“I had a ton of passion for this,” said Camp-Germann. “I think God put this in my heart.”

Camp-Germann said that her previous practice assisted children with different ability levels, which includes those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

“I have a passion for helping those with disabilities,” said Camp-Germann.
