The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Russell resident Lois Foutch and Morning Pointe of Russell resident Judy Mollett can’t wait to make another tasty treat during this week’s cooking class, led by Morning Pointe of Russell cook Kelli Hoffman.
The class was created to provide an opportunity for residents from the Morning Pointe campus’s personal care and memory care communities to spend time together while brushing up on basic culinary skills.
“Our residents have really enjoyed being able to learn a new skill while getting to know their neighbors from our personal care community,” said Lantern program director Jimmy Adams. “We’re so grateful to Kelli for making this cooking class happen.”
