Aaron M. Markin, 36, of Chillicothe, Ohio, was arrested on Tuesday on the charges of trafficking in a controlled substance, theft by deception, first degree possession of the controlled substance Methamphetamine, first degree possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of persistent felony offender. Markin is being lodged at the Boyd County Detention Center. 

CATLETTSBURG – An Ohio man was transferred into the local detention center from an Ohio jail after a name search revealed several warrants, including a warrant for trafficking in a controlled substance.

Aaron M. Markin, 36, of Chillicothe, Ohio, was transferred to the Boyd County Detention Center after an Ohio jail ran his name, revealing several warrants out of Boyd County, according to Boyd County Jailer Bill Hensley.

Markin was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, theft by deception, first degree possession of the controlled substance Methamphetamine, first degree possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of persistent felony offender.

Markin remains lodged at the Boyd County Detention Center, according to the jail's website.
