ASHLAND – An Ashland man was arrested recently by police on child abuse charges that allegedly occurred earlier in the year.
Marty Andrew Rogers, 39, of Ashland was arrested by the Ashland Police Department on the charge of criminal abuse of a child 12 of under.
Rogers, who was identified as homeless at the time of arrest, allegedly committed the alleged abuse in January, said police reports.
The APD was arrested Rogers on an active warrant after an indictment was issued in Boyd County Circuit Court on the charge, said police reports.
The arrest report had no additional information on the case.
Rogers was lodged at the Boyd County Detention Center without incident.
