Russell dance team to have spaghetti dinner

RUSSELL - The Russell High School Dance Team will have a spaghetti dinner before tonight’s Russell-Greenup County boys varsity basketball game.

The dinner will begin at 5 p.m. and the menu includes spaghetti, Texas toast, dessert and drink. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from any dance team member, parent, or at the door.

Proceeds will help fund the dance team’s trip to the national competition in San Antonio, Texas, in March. For more information, call 836-0339.

Bear Mill opens, having drawings

CANNONSBURG - The Bear Mill is now open in the Kyova Tri-State Mall.

Drawings will be held throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday for various gifts. Also, the Bear Mill mascot — “Bobbins Bear” — will make appearances throughout the day.

Tiki Tubs kicks off annual toy drive

CANNONSBURG - Tiki Tubs Hot Tub Outlet on U.S. 60 in Cannonsburg is having its third annual toy drive through Dec. 16.

New, unwrapped toys may be dropped off at the store, which is behind Mr. Gatti’s, during store hours, which are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.

Author available to sign book copies

WHEELERSBURG - Local author Kay Stockham will be available to sign copies of her books “Montana Secrets” and “Man With A Past,” published by Harlequin, at Luminous Salon and Day Spa in Wheelersburg from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday.

She will sign copies of “Montana Skies” from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 20 at Borders Books and Music in the Huntington Mall and at 6 p.m. at Waldenbooks in Ashland Town Center as part of a multi-author signing.

She’ll also make a second appearance at Luminous Salon and Day Spa from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 3.
