Kentucky State Police on Wednesday arrested three Salyersville residents in the disappearance and presumed death of a Magoffin County woman missing since Dec. 23.

Don Reed, 62, was charged with one count each of murder and tampering with physical evidence, according to a news release from the Pikeville KSP post.

Paul Douglas Arnett, 41, and Linda Arnett, 40, were charged with criminal facilitation to commit murder and tampering with physical evidence, the KSP said.

All three are charged in the death of 28-year-old Brandy Rowe of Salyersville.

According to the KSP, Rowe was last seen two days before Christmas, leaving a residence on Lakeview Road in Magoffin County. She was planning to go to a destination in a very rural area near the Magoffin-Breathitt County line, but never made it there, the KSP said.

On Monday, the Magoffin County Sheriff’s Department received information from an acquaintance of Rowe’s indicating that the woman had been shot and her body dumped near the secluded area that she was en route to, the KSP said.

Rowe’s body hasn’t been found. The KSP on Thursday continued its efforts to locate the body using search dogs.

All three of the suspects were arrested without incident at their homes by Detective Mike Goble, the lead investigator in the case, and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.

Anyone with information about the case or the whereabouts of Rowe’s body is asked to call the Pikeville post at (877) 416-1230 or (606) 433-7711.
