The following arrests were made over the weekend in Boyd and Carter counties, according to jail and police records:
•Tammy L. Greer, 40, of Grayson was arrested on Saturday by the Kentucky State Police on the charges of first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree promoting contraband, failure to appear, non-payment of court costs, serving a parole violation warrant, giving an officer false identifying information and receiving stolen property under $10,000. Greer was lodged at the Carter County Detention Center.
•John Bowen, 52, of Martin was arrested on Friday by the Boyd County Sheriff's Department on the charge of third-degree burglary. Bowen was lodged at the Boyd County Detention Center.
•Melvin J. Cade Jr., 40, of Ashland was arrested on Friday by the Ashland Police Department on the charges of fugitive from another state, first-degree possession of methamphetamine, and second-degree fleeing or evading police on foot. Cade was lodged at the Boyd County Detention Center.
•Brittany Scott Cantrell, 23, of Olive Hill was arrested on Saturday on the charges of third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal trespassing and theft by deception or shoplifting less than $500. Cantrell was lodged at the Boyd County Detention Center.
•Johnny Paul Rice, 37, of Ashland was arrested on Sunday by the Ashland Police Department on the charge of first-degree trafficking in methamphetamine. Rice was lodged at the Boyd County Detention Center.
•Rosetta Ann Gunter, 32, of Ashland was arrested on Friday by the Catlettsburg Police Department on the charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication on a controlled substance. Gunter was lodged at the Boyd County Detention Center.
An arrest is not a conviction of guilt and all individuals are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
