GRAYSON The Carter County Grand Jury released Oct. 25 indictments recently. The indictments include allegations of fleeing from police, resisting arrest, wanton endangerment and criminal possession of a forged instrument.

An indictment is not a conviction of guilt and all individuals are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

According to court records the following were indicted on the following charges:

  • Eric Taylor, 37, of Vanceburg: first-degree possession of heroin, a class D felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a class C felony, resisting arrest, a class A misdemeanor, second-degree fleeing or evading police, a class A misdemeanor, driving with a suspended license, a class B misdemeanor, failure to maintain required insurance, a class B misdemeanor, and no registration, a traffic violation.
  • Michael S. Zornes, 38, of Olive Hill: operating a motor vehicle under the influence, his second offense and a class B misdemeanor, possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor, first-degree trafficking in methamphetamine, a class C felony, third-degree trafficking in Xanax, a class A misdemeanor, two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, a class A misdemeanor, tampering with physical evidence, a class D felony, and failure to maintain required insurance, a class B misdemeanor.
  • Eric Clevenger, 37, of Grayson: first-degree possession of methamphetamine, a class D felony, first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a class C felony, after court records said he possessed $100 counterfeit currency, and third-degree criminal trespassing, a violation, after court records said he entered the Grayson Police Department's impound lot without permission.
  • James R. Cox, 38, of Grayson: theft by unlawful taking over $10,000, a class C felony, after court records said he stole a 1961 Ford Galaxy.
  • Anthony Dobbins, 33, of Salyersville: first-degree possession of heroin, a class D felony.
  • Ethan Drake Dunn, 29, of Grayson: second-degree burglary, a class C felony, and intimidating a witness in the legal process, a class D felony.
  • Joshua Gray, 29, of Webbville: driving on a suspended license, a class B misdemeanor, first-degree fleeing or evading police, a class D felony, first-degree wanton endangerment, a class D felony, and first-degree wanton endangerment to a police officer, a class D felony.
  • Brandon C. Greene, 29, of Grayson: first-degree fleeing or evading police, a class D felony, first-degree wanton endangerment, a class D felony, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence, a class A misdemeanor.
  • Brian Liles, 41, of Olive Hill: third-degree criminal mischief, a class B misdemeanor, first-degree wanton endangerment, a class D felony, and three counts of third-degree terroristic threatening, a class A misdemeanor.
  • Brooke N. McGranahan, 30, of Hitchins: theft by unlawful taking under $500, a class A misdemeanor, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony, and possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor.
  • Donnie J. Pauley, 29, of Grayson: receiving stolen property over $10,000, a class C felony, after court records state he stole a 2015 Ford Fiesta.
  • Scott A. Shanan, 43, of Kingwood Preston, West Virginia: receiving stolen property over $10,000 after court records state he possessed a wrecker that belonged to Restoration Plus.
