CATLETTSBURG The Boyd County Grand Jury released indictments recently. They include cases involving accusations of attempted trafficking in a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, and possession charges.

An indictment is not a conviction of guilt and all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Stephanie Jenkins, 45, of Grayson was indicted by the grand jury on the charge of second-degree attempted trafficking in a controlled substance, drug unspecified, a class A misdemeanor, according to court documents. Jenkins was also indicted by the grand jury on the charges of tampering with physical evidence, a class D felony, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony, and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor. Jenkins was also charged by the grand jury as a second-degree persistent felony offender based off previous convictions of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Jenkins' bail was set at $5,000 full cash.

Anderson Allen Crooks, 44, of Catlettsburg was indicted by the grand jury on the charge of first-degree possession of the controlled substance Methamphetamine, according to court documents. Crooks' bail was set at $2,500 full cash.

Scott Alan Bellardo Jr., 28, of Ashland was indicted by the grand jury on the charges of receiving stolen property under $10,000, a class D felony, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, a class B misdemeanor, and no operator’s moped license, a violation, according to court documents. Bellardo was also charged by the grand jury as a first-degree persistent felony offender based off previous convictions of aggravated family offense and criminal contempt. Bellardo's bail was set at $10,000 full cash.

Tyler C. Perry, 29, of Ironton, Ohio was indicted by the grand jury on the charges of buying or possessing drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor, and first-degree possession of the controlled substance Methamphetamine, a class D felony, according to court records. Perry's bail was set at $2,500 full cash.

Larry W. Childs, 28, of Tampa, Fla., was indicted by the grand jury on the charges of theft by unlawful taking, a firearm, a class D felony, and theft by unlawful taking or disposition under $500, a class A misdemeanor, according to court documents. Childs' bail was set at $5,000 full cash.

Jasin Justice, 39, who is identified as homeless, was indicted by the grand jury on the charges of theft of identity of another without consent, a class D felony, and first-degree possession of the controlled substance Methamphetamine, a class D felony, according to court documents. Justice's bail was set at $10,000 full cash.

Stacey Barnett, 43, of Ashland was indicted by grand jury on the charge of first-degree possession of the controlled substance methamphetamine, according to court documents. Barnett's bail was set at $2,500 full cash.

Nenia Joyce Adkins, 61, of South Shore was indicted by the grand jury on the charge of theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting, a class D felony, according to court documents. Adkins' bail was set at $5,000 full cash.

Jonathon J. Jarvis, 29, of Ashland was indicted by the grand jury on the charge of receiving stolen property under $10,000, a class D felony, according to court documents. Jarvis' bail was set at $10,000 full cash.

Dora Marie Grooms, 40, of South Shore, was indicted by the grand jury on the charge of theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting, a class D felony, according to court documents. Grooms' bail was set at $5,000 full cash.
