ASHLAND – Local authorities executed a search warrant at what was described as a “nuisance home” on Tuesday and arrested seven individuals.
The Ashland Police Department Field Operations unit conducted a drug investigation recently at the home at 1813 Hilton Ave.
“We have had multiple narcotic violations historically and Tuesday night resulted in multiple arrests,” according to a press release posted on the APD’s Facebook page.
Police obtained a search warrant for the residence and said they seized suspected methamphetamine and heroin along with drug paraphernalia.
The APD made six arrests on the charges of first-degree trafficking in the controlled substance methamphetamine, first-degree trafficking in the controlled substance heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
APD arrested Katrina Knowles, 56, Patsy Bassett, 30, Steven Williams ,22, Ella Murphy, 36, who all resided at the residence, according to the police.
APD also arrested Everett Daniels 54, and Samuel Elliot, 27, who are identified as homeless according to the police.
Savannah Titlow, 23, who is identified as homeless was also arrested at the scene on only warrant charges. The outstanding warrants were for charges of failure to appear, abuse or neglect of a child, and contempt of court.
All individuals were lodged at the Boyd County Detention Center without incident.
