Carl and Ann Worthington of South Shore are marking their 65th wedding anniversary.
They were married Jan. 16, 1954, in Wurtland by Elder Clyde Stephens.
Mr. Worthington is the son of the late Arthur and Grace Worthington. He is retired from Florida Power as a civil engineer and construction supervisor.
Mrs. Worthington is the daughter of the late Willis and Myrtle Everman of Grayson. She enjoys writing poetry.
They are members of Siloam Missionary Baptist Church at Siloam.
They have one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Singleton and her husband, Gene, of Concord, N.C.; two grandsons, Sean Singleton, a computer tech for CSX Rail Road Commuter trains in Poughkeepsie (with wife Sonia and son Ian); and Adam, a career Navy Officer deployed in Honolulu, Hawaii, (with wife Kristy, daughter Allison and son Benjamin).
