Rachel Gool and Zack Klemme were joined in marriage April 1 at Summit Church of the Nazarene.
Miss Gool is the daughter of Brian Gool of Ashland and the late Linda Gool; the granddaughter of Carol Gool of Coal Grove and the late Fred Gool; and the late Rev. Willard and Gertie Hill.
She is a 2005 graduate of Boyd County High School and a 2009 graduate of Morehead State University. She teaches kindergarten at Ponderosa Elementary School.
Mr. Klemme is the son of LaVonda Klemme of Lexington and Ken Klemme of Edmond, Okla.; and the grandson of Evan and Myrtle Pierce of Amarillo, Texas and Tom and Dorothy Cheatwood of Edmond.
He is a 2006 graduate of West Jessamine High School and a 2010 graduate of Asbury University. He is a sports writer for The Daily Independent.
The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Keith Hill, uncle of the bride. Stephanie Meenach, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Laura Wells, Kelsey Gee and Kayla Snyder were bridesmaids. Ethan Klemme, brother of the groom, was the best man. Clay Robertson, Kevin Wolf and Ryan Meenach were groomsmen. Jaxon Meenach, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. Anna McGehee and Molly McGehee, cousins of the groom, were flower girls. Andy Clarke, Cody Gool and Aaron Snyder were ushers.
The couple reside in Ashland.
