Tasha Faulkner and Eric Strome, both of Farmington Hills, Mich., were married Aug. 19 at Churchill Downs in Louisville by the Rev. Lowell Ogden and the Rev. Don Young.
The parents of the bride are Martha Faulkner of Flatwoods and the late Lewis Faulkner of Ashland.
The parents of the groom are Roy and Patricia Strome of Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
The bride was a 2003 graduate of Russell High School, a 2007 graduate of Marietta College, a 2012 graduate of Eastern Michigan University and will graduate in 2019 from the Western Michigan University Law School.
The groom was a 2003 graduate of Vincent Massey, a 2007 graduate of the University of Windsor Engineering and is employed by Fiat Chrysler.
The bride was given away by her mother, Martha Faulkner.
Matron of honor was Amy Chubak of Columbus; bridesmaids were Jessie Harris of Marietta, Erin Carlin of Pittsburgh, Holly Bader of Columbus and Caitlyn Strome of Canada.
Best man was Gabriel Wong-Rieger; groomsmen were Greg Camlis; Dan Dominato, Jay Cholfe and Ryan Jones, all of Canada.
Music was by Everlasting Sounds of Cincinnati.
The reception was at the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville.
