7 injured in accident near Ashland mall

ASHLAND —

A four-vehicle accident sent seven to King's Daughters Medical Center with non-life threatning injuries on Thursday night.

It happened at  5:17 p.m. in the area of the intersection of Winchester Avenue and the entrance to the Ashland Town Center mall, according to the Ashland Police Department.

One of the vehicles was on its side, according to dispatchers.The cause of the accident was not known.

The APD, Ashland Fire Department and Boyd County EMS responded to the scene.
