Water back on in Greenup

GREENUP — The Greenup Water District has isolated the major line break and is turning water back on for its customers.

Water issues and power problems continue to plague some communities in northeastern Kentucky.

Some in the Greenup system have been without water for more than a week and an ice storm that swept through Elliott and Carter counties on Wednesday has left many without power.

Grayson RECC hopes to have all power restored by Sunday.
