FLATWOODS — There was plenty of music and fun at the family-oriented Flatwoods Festival on Saturday.
Musicians entertained after a parade got the fun started. The festival had a little bit of everything as hundreds enjoyed the fall fun.
A Civil War exhibit included a cannon exhibit, medical demonstration and music by Kentucky Memorie. The Kentucky Highlands Museum Traveling Exhibit covering life in this area from 1750 to 1840 and from 1840 to the Civil War will be on display. The exhibitswere made available through Shawn Braden and Civil War re-enactors and Steen Cannons.
