'A Night at the Apollo'

ASHLAND — The annual "A Night At The Apollo" amateur talent competition carried on a tradition of outstanding local talent while paying tribute to Black History Month in Ashland with a field of 11 performers divided into three categories according to age.

Bringing music, dance and drama to the stage at J.B. Sowards Theater on the ACTC campus, performers for the 2014 rendition of the event were Heather Miller,  Emma Latherow, Molly Baldock, Daniel McMillian, Susan Taylor, Ollie Palmer, Seth Allister, SAW Ministries Singers, Shaela Scaggs, Mattox Hale, Pink Lincoln, Everett Morrison, Marshall Taylor and Kelsey Gute.

Judges for this year’s competition were Jessie Coleman, Jackie Atterbury and Don Rambo.
