ASHLAND — An anonymous caller led to the arrest of a wanted man on Sunday night in Ashland.
Joe Bentley, who was wanted for first-degree manslaughter in the June 21 death of Russell Chandler at the Bluegrass Inn, was taken into custody after a caller reported seeing a person eating at a local restaurant that matched the description on the wanted poster put out by the Ashland Police Department.
Chandler was found dead in his motel room from blunt-force head trauma, according to Boyd County Coroner Mark Hammond.
Chandler had been living at the motel.
Bentley, 52, was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
