Stadium demo to begin Tuesday morning

ASHLAND — Demolition on Putnam Stadium, the home of the Ashland Tomcats since 1937, will start around 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The equipment from Light's Construction is in place at the stadium. This will be the first phase of the stadium renovation project. Bleacher installation will follow after the home and visiting stands are taken down.

The first phase of the project is $1.46 million.
