ASHLAND — An Ashland man was arrested Friday and charged with manufacturing meth.

James M. Slavens, 43, was arrested at his place of employment after deputies from the Boyd County Sheriff’s Department cleaned up hazardous wasted from three meth labs at a home on Eltura Street.
