ASHLAND — A man allegedly responsible for several home invasions and burglaries was arrested on Wednesday night, according to the Boyd County Sheriff’s Department.
Gerald Menshouse was arrested about 7 p.m. at a gas station after he fled police for a short time.
Menshouse had pointed a gun at several people, including children, while driving on Hilton Avenue, according to a report. When deputies spotted him, he fled.
After being arrested at the gas station, deputies found meth, crack pipes, needles and other items that had been stolen in recent burglaries and daytime home invasions.
He is facing 10 charges relating to drugs, break-ins and fleeing police. Menshouse is lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
