Woman sought in Ashland robbery

ASHLAND — The Boyd County Sheriff's Office is looking for a woman who they said robbed a gas station Friday night.

The incident happened around 11:40 p.m. at the Speedway on Russell Road.

Authorities said the woman told an employee she had a gun and demanded money. She was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The woman was wearing a scarf over her face, a blue hooded sweatshirt and brown sweat pants.
