Horse-shooting suspects IDed

DURBIN — Authorities have identified three suspects in a series of horse shootings last week in the Durbin area.

All three of the suspects have admitted to being involved in one of the shootings and one confessed to actually pulling the trigger, the Boyd County Sheriff’s Department said.

Two of the suspects are juveniles and live in the Summit area, while the third is an adult who lives in the Durbin area. Charges are pending against all three, the sheriff’s department said.

The investigation is continuining and additional suspects could be charged, the sheriff’s department said.
