ASHLAND — Courtney Rae Ryan married Kenneth Tyler Gilbert on May 12, 2012, at Bellefonte Country Club in Ashland, outside on the greens with a reception that followed at the country club. Pastor Lance Campbell of South Ashland United Methodist Church performed the ceremony.

In attendance were the bride’s grandparents, T.R. and Charlene Cooper and grandmother Janice Ryan.

The bride was presented by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell and Annette Ryan of Ashland.

She is a 2003 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School, and a 2007 graduate of Morehead State University. She is a second grade teacher with Oakview Elementary School in Ashland.

The man of honor was Matthew C. Ryan, brother of the bride; bridesmaids were, Tina Chaney, Lauren Cooper and Madison Ryan, cousins of the bride; flower girl was Alexis Perkins.

Parent of the groom is, Susan Swim, of Ashland.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and is employed by AK Steel in Ashland.

Bestman was J.D. Swim, cousin of the groom; groomsmen were, Jeff Morin, Fred Nunley, cousin of the groom, and Jeremy Rogers; ring bearer was Griffin Gilbert, son of the groom; ushers were T.R. Cooper III and Rece Ryan, cousins of the bride.
