ASHLAND — Gregory Allan Parsons of Ashland and Cortney Michelle Callihan of Flatwoods were united in marriage on Dec. 15, 2013.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Boyd County High School and attended Ashland Community and Technical College. He is the son of Gale (Rock) Schwichtenberg of Mankato, Minn., and the late Michael D. Parsons. He is the grandson of Ruie Jackson of Hitchins and the late Calvin Jackson and the late Harold and Grace Parsons. He is employed by R&D Railroad.

The bride is 2002 graduate of Russell High School and attended Morehead State University. She is the daughter of Richard and Lisa Callihan of Flatwoods. She is the granddaughter of Jane Lawless of Ironton, the late Thomas Lawless, the late Patricia Lawless, the late George Callihan and the late Ruth Callihan. She is employed by The Morehead News Group.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Davo Chandler at the home of the bride’s parents. Standing up with the bride and groom were George C. Adams of Willard and Chelsie A. Parsons of Huntington.

The couple plan a reception for their family and friends in the summer of 2014. They reside in Grayson.
