Laura Kendrick Sewell of Ashland and James Travis Timberlake of Ashland were married April 14, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. at First Christian Church of Ashland by the Rev. Kyle Brown.
Parents of the couple are Jacque Brownstead of Ashland and Bill and Elizabeth Sewell of Maysville; and Stan and Treca Timberlake of Ashland.
Music for the ceremony was by Gail Rous, organist, and Ryan and Sarah Lynch, soloists.
Matron of honor was Nancy Lynch, sister of the bride, of Ashland; maid of honor was Nancy Huffman of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Bridesmaids were Mindy Sunderland, sister of the groom, of Louisville, and Jenny Thomas and Rhonda Suman of Ashland.
Best man was Stan Timberlake, father of the groom.
Groomsmen were Aaron Williams of Ashland, Trey VanHoose and Justin Dixon and Adam Young of Lexington.
Ushers were Bryan Sunderland, brother-in-law of the groom, of Louisville, E.B. Lowman III of Ashland, Brian Burton of Lexington and Brad Robinson of Ashland.
Flower girls were Mikayla Pennington and Madison Jones, cousins of the groom, of Ashland.
Ring bearer was Tanner Cassady of Ashland.
Guest book attendants were Brooke Elswick and Lyndi Lowman of Ashland and reader was David Daniel.
A reception follow at the Bellefonte Country Club in Ashland.
The bride is a graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and has a BS from Park University. She is a certified employee benefit specialist designation from the Wharton School, vice president and trust officer, Community Trust and Investment Co.
The groom also is a graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and has a BA from Georgetown College. He is an account manager for Coca Cola Enterprises, Inc.
After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple reside in Ashland.
