Sara Beth Flanery and David Alan Carpenter were married Oct. 21, 2006, at First United Methodist Church in Ashland, with pastor Lou Boston and brother of the groom, Stewart Carpenter, of Tri-County Assembly of God in Fairfield, Ohio, officiating.
Parents of the bride are Bryan and Joan Flanery of Ashland.
Parents of the groom are Paul and Merrie Carpenter of Cincinnati.
She is a contract coordinator with C.P. Morgan and is a 2001 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School in Ashland and a 2005 graduate of Centre College.
He is a building inspector for Indianapolis, Ind. He is a 1998 graduate of Madeira High School and a 2003 graduate of Anderson University.
The bride was presented by her father.
Maid of honor was Kimberly Flanery, sister of the bride, of Louisville. Bridesmaids were Kim Bauser of New Haven, Conn., Ashley Jones of Louisville, Ashleigh Killin of Arlington, Texas, Hannah Schipp of Fishers, Ind., and Laura Hellebusch of Vologda, Russia.
Flower girl was Aminta Ellis.
Best man was Nick Best of Fishers. Groomsmen were Jared Kolter of Branson, Mo., Andy White of Fishers, Bryan Stump of Nobelsville, Ind., Andy Shores of Indianapolis and Ryan Denton of Fishers.
Ring bearer was Sam Ellis.
Ushers were Travis Williams of Lexington, Ben O’Neal of Champaign, Ill., and Steven Carpenter, brother of the groom, of Cincinnati.
The couple honeymooned in Santorini, Greece, and are now residing in Indianapolis.
