Kelly-Robinette

Nickie Kelly and Rodney Robinette Jr. were united in marriage on May 5, 2008, on the harbor in downtown San Diego, Calif., with Sonya Yu officiating the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Patricia Kelly, Patricia Cole and Dave Hozza, all of St. Paul; and Rodney and Karen Robinette of Catlettsburg.

The bride is an OS2 2nd Class Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy and is a 1997 graduate of St. Paul Central in St. Paul, Minn., and a 2002 graduate of the University of Findlay, Findlay, Ohio, with a BA in art and a BA in management with a minor in Japanese.

The groom is an AVH3 3rd Class Petty Officer with the U.S. Navy. He is a 2000 graduate of Boyd County High School and attended Morehead State University and Northern Kentucky University.

A reception will be held in honor of the couple in late November at the home of the groom’s parents in Catlettsburg.

The couple are residing in San Diego, Calif., where they are stationed.
