— Carrie Marie Hemlock and Earnest David Duty II were married Sept. 1, 2007, at Greenbo State Park in Argillite with Chad Burn officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Arlene Marcum of South Point and Glenn Hicks of Harold.
She is a graduate of Millard High School in Pikeville and is employed as a home loan consultant for Countrywide Home Loans.
The groom is the son of Earnest and Teresa Duty of Flatwoods. He is a graduate of Russell High School and a 2007 graduate of ACTC.
The bride was escorted by her son, Austin Mac Hemlock.
Matron of honor was Amanda Howard, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Emily Hicks, DeeJay Jayne and Erica Fletcher.
Scripture was read by Kim Frasure.
Best men were Eric Robinette and Jeromy Blum.
Groomsmen were Jonathan Dalenberg and Jacob Moore.
The sermon was given by Clifton Salyers.
Special guests were Loretta Dixon and LaVerne Day.
The couple honeymooned at Papakea Resort in Maui, Hawaii.
The couple are residing in Argillite.
