Porter-Pemberton

Courtney Porter and Nicholas Pemberton were wed June 9, 2007, at Plymouth Heights Church of the Nazarene in Franklin Furnace, Ohio, by Tim Throckmorton of Plymouth Heights Church of the Nazarene.

Mrs. Pemberton, a daughter of James and Cheryl Porter of Franklin Furnace, is a student at Morehead State University. She is a 2002 graduate of Green High School.

Mr. Pemberton, son of Rick and Laynette Pemberton of Willowwood, Ohio, is an ironworker of Local 769 in Ashland and is a 2000 graduate of Chesapeake High School.

The bride was presented by her father.

Matron of honor was Linzi Lewis. Maid of honor was Ashley Meek and bridesmaids were Staci Porter and Tabitha Kennedy. Flower girl was Kaitlin Porter.

Best man was Chris Lewis. Groomsmen were Jared Porter, Doug Bills and Mark McCormick. Ring bearer was Westley Lewis.

A reception followed at Schiling Building in Haverhill.

Following a honeymoon trip to St. Augustine, Fla., the couple reside in Franklin Furnace.
