Holly Putnam Moore and Matthew Thomas Lyons celebrate their first anniversary today.
They were wed Aug. 12, 2006, at Lovers Leap Vineyard in Lawrenceburg.
The outdoor ceremony was performed by Cindy Green, minister.
Mrs. Lyons is the daughter of Louis and Beverly Moore, and granddaughter of Bert and Lois Baker and Valonia Moore, all of Ashland.
She is a 1996 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School, a 2000 graduate of the University of Kentucky and a 2004 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Sciences with a D.V.M. degree.
She operates TLC Equine Services in Lexington.
Mr. Lyons, the son of Gerry and Barbara Lyons of Ashland, is a 1997 graduate of Russell High School and a 2002 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor of science degree in biosystems engineering. He is a contractor sales representative for 84 Lumber in Versailles.
Nuptial music was presented by Sally Kelton, harpist, and Mary Lou Forman, vocalist.
Shea Reed of Louisville served her sister as matron of honor. Allison Haley of Lexington was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids included Jackie Elam of Lexington, sister-in-law of the bride, Erica Kramer of Tampa, Fla., cousin of the bride, Katie Lyons of Indianapolis, sister of the groom, and Nicole Andrews of Atlanta.
Best men were Jay Cobb of Birmingham, Ala., and Damion Scott of Lexington.
Groomsmen were Greg Custer of Auburn, Lawrence Kuno Jr. of New York, cousin of the groom, Collin Elam of Lexington, brother of the bride, and Andrew Scott of Lexington.
Flower girl was Taylor Vifquain of Lexington, niece of the bride, and ring bearer was John Patrick Reed of Louisville, nephew of the bride.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Vineyard.
Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple reside at 3 Dog Farm in Versailles.
