Browning-Napier

Cody Ann Browning and Michael Travis Napier were wed at 7 p.m. June 1, 2007, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ashland by the Rev. Mark A. Kloha in a double-ring ceremony.

Mrs. Napier is a daughter of Rickie E. and Debra K. Browning of Ashland.

She is supervisor in food services and system administrator over Computrition Nutrition Care Management computer system at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She is a 1998 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and a 2004 graduate of Marshall University College of Education and Human Services with a bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition. She is an IAD student at Tri-State Skydivers in Chesapeake, Ohio, working toward her class (A) licensure through the USPA.

Mr. Napier is a son of Michael D. and Mary Ann Napier.

He is a correctional transportation officer for the state of West Virginia at the Western Regional Jail. He is a 1998 graduate of Russell High School and attended the University of Kentucky and State of West Virginia Regional Corrections Academy. He also is an IAD student at Tri-State Skydivers in Chesapeake working toward his class (A) licensure through the USPA.

The bride was presented by her parents.

Nuptial music was presented by organist Elizabeth Wright and vocalist Angela “Faith” Browning, sister-in-law of the bride.

Maid of honor was Lisa Dawn Conley of Ashland and matron of honor was Lora Beth Pullin of Flatwoods.

Flower girls were Anna “Gracie” Browning, niece of the bride, and Hailey Brooke Stambaugh, niece of the groom. Tina Proctor, the groom’s sister, was guest book attendant.

Best man was Mark Kendall of Lexington and groomsman was Michael Roy of Worthington.

Ring bearers were Daniel “Lennon” Browning, the bride’s nephew, and Cameron Blake Stambaugh, the groom’s nephew.

Cecil Stevens served as acolyte.

Ushers were Josh Browning, the bride’s brother. and Joe Proctor, the groom’s brother-in-law.

Refreshments were served in the church fellowship hall. A reception followed the ceremony at the home of Joe and Tina Proctor of Russell.

Following a wedding trip to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple reside in Ashland.
