— April Kristine Hatfield and Jason Wade Carr were married on May 2, 2009 at Indian Harbour Beach, Fla. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Mary Young.
Parents of the couple are Mike and Donna Hatfield, of Ashland and Bill and Toni Blanton, of Wurtland, and Dan and Teri Carr, of Ashland.
She is a 2000 graduate of Boyd County High School and is employed at AT&T as a customer service representative.
He is a 1997 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and a 2002 graduate of Morehead State University with a bachelors in communication. He is employed by AT&T as a area manager.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The matron of honor was Amanda Fields, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Jaclyn Hatfield, sister-in-law of the bride, Toni Wright and Courtney Miller.
Flower girl was Riley Myers.
The best man was Dustin Carr and groomsmen were Josh Blanton, Chris Blanton and Shane Thomas.
Ringbearer was Zachery Hatfield.
A reception followed in Indian Harbour, and they honeymooned in Ft. Myers, Fla.
They are residing in Greenup.
