— Ashley Renee Renfroe and Richard Grant Layne were married Oct. 13, 2007, in a double-ring ceremony at Garner Missionary Baptist Church in Rush by minister Gary Arrington.
Parents of the couple are Mark and Connie Renfroe of Ashland and Mark and Debbie Layne of Ashland.
She is a 2003 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and a 2007 graduate of King’s Daughters Medical Center school of radiology technology. She is employed by King’s Daughters Medical Center as a radiologic technologist.
He is a 2003 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and a 2005 graduate of ACTC. He is employed as a chemical operator at Marathon.
Music was provided by Paris Seder and Jamie Lester, soloists, and Sabrina Riley, pianist.
The bride was presented by her father.
Matron of honor was Sarah Hicks, sister of the bride, of Mansfield, Ohio. Bridesmaids were Amanda Large of Ashland, Paris Seder, cousin of the bride, of Nashville, Sarah Bowman of Ashland and Jennifer Wrubel of Louisville.
Flower girl was Katelyn Hicks of Mansfield, niece of the bride.
Best man was Tyler Layne, brother of the groom, of Ashland. Groomsmen were Alex Suico, Luke McCoy and Aaron Adkins, all of Ashland, and Jordan Small of Georgetown.
Ring bearer was Joseph Hicks II, nephew of the bride, of Mansfield.
The reception followed the ceremony at Elite Catering in Ashland.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn., and reside in Ashland.
