Dillow-McDowell

Katie Elizabeth Dillow and James Christopher McDowell were married in a double-ring ceremony on Oct. 27, 2007, at Unity Baptist Church in Ashland by Dr. Floyd Paris.

Parents of the couple are Joe and Marsha Dillow of Ashland and Jim and Carole McDowell of Ashland.

She is a 2000 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and a 2006 graduate of ACTC School of Nursing. She is a registered nurse in the burn ICU at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.

He is a 1998 graduate of Boyd County High School and is employed with UPS in Ashland.

The bride was presented by her father.

Maid of honor was Amanda Coburn. Bridesmaids were Melissa Rucker, Julie Tucker and Jessica McNurlin.

Flower girl was Saule Gollihue.

Best man was Josh Moore. Groomsmen were Wayne McDowell, Shane Collinsworth and Brian Miller.

Ring bearer was Kade Dye.

Ushers were Michael Williams and Jonathan Williams.

The reception followed the ceremony at Elite Catering Ballroom in Ashland.

Following a honeymoon to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple are residing in Ashland.
