Johnson-Opell

Trista Dawn Johnson of Russell and Eric Adam Opell of Rush were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 29, 2007, at Oakland Avenue Baptist Church in Catlettsburg by Pastor Jason Parker of the Gospel Light Baptist Church.

Maid of honor was Jill Lowery of Elizabeth City, N.C.

Bridesmaids were Andrea Opell and Laura Opell, both of Rush, and sisters of the groom.

Best man was Brett Esenbock of Catlettsburg, cousin of the groom.

Groomsmen were Ben Wade of Lexington, cousin of the groom, and Bobby Johnson of Oak Hill, Ohio, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Hayden Holbrook of Louisville and Nick Holbrook of Ashland, both cousins of the groom.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Russell High School and a 2006 graduate of Transylvania University with a bachelor of arts degree in accounting. She is employed at Kelley, Galloway and Co., as a certified public accountant.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Boyd County High School and is employed at CT Hughes Construction Co. as an equipment operator.

After honeymooding at Hilton Head Island, the couple are residing in Catlettsburg.
