BIRKE ART GALLERY

DOODLES STUDIO & GALLERY

‰Paper Mosaic Class is $65 including 6”X6” canvas or mirror frame, craft Knife, decoupage medium and dimensional paint as well as six to eight class hours of instruction to be done in one day.

‰Traditional Mosaic Class are $110., which includes mirror frame, tile nippers, safety glasses, adhesive and six class hours of instruction.

The gallery is at 101 East Water St., Flemingsburg; open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed from 1 to 2 p.m. for lunch.

L STYLE

The Potters’ Loft will be open First Friday for an open studio for the students and for the public for viewing of students work andto obtain information on the pottery classes.

The new eight week session of the Wheel Thrown Pottery classes will begin Monday or Tuesday, March 17 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Potters Loft, LStyle Salon, 1516 Winchester Avenue.

Each student will work on their own wheel.

PAINTED COW GALLERY

Studio home for the Lawrence County Arts Council, 103 S. Main St., Louisa. The gallery has a wide diversity of fine hand-made artwork on display and for sale from artists of the Tri-State and beyond.

Commissioned artists are available for specific art work.

The gallery is dedicating this month for the “LOVE OF ART” and has a wide diversity of fine hand-made artwork including drawings, paintings, photography, abstract sculptures, quilts, handmade jewelry, books from local authors/artists, note cards, decorative painted juvenile furniture, art dolls, etc. all on display and for sale from artists of the Tri-State and beyond.

Special congratulations to Maureen Dosier who won and award of excellence, and to Anne Sloan who won an honorable mention at the Greenbo Art Show this past weekend.

THE PENDLETON

ART CENTER

Join us at the Pendleton for a special show of work by students of the Pendleton artists/teachers. Music will be provided by Wyatt Freeman, guitarist and vocalist. The theme for artwork this month is up-cycled and repurposed. Artist of the month is Jason Stewart of Studio 138.

The Pendleton will be open from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday and from 2 to 5 p.m. for “Second Look” Saturday.

The Pendleton Art Center, 1537-1539 Winchester Ave., Ashland, houses the working and retail sale studios of artists and craftsmen from the Tri-State Area with a wide range of talents.
