Kayla Miller, daughter of Glada and Michael Miller of Olive Hill, recently completed the University of Kentucky Health Careers Opportunity Program six-week Summer Enrichment Camp.
The camp is for high school sophomores interested in health careers and gives them the opportunity for insight into college life with classes in biology, chemistry and anatomy and a look at various health careers.
She is a sophomore at West Carter High School.

Megan Rice of Ashland has received a scholarship from the Robert E. Evans Education Fund.
Peoples Bancorp Foundation, a nonprofit corporation formed to make donations in Peoples Bank’s market areas, has awarded $10,000 in scholarships to nine area college-bound students.
Rice is attending Marshall University.
