Amber E. Ogbolu, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Francis N. Ogbolu of Ashland, has graduated with high honors from Foxcroft School in Middleburg, Va..
She was an AP Scholar, a National Achievement Outstanding Participant, a National Association of High School Scholars, a member of Cum Laude Society and Who’s Who and recipient of the Dudley Award, which is awarded to the girl of the senior class who’s been the most willing and cooperative in her unselfish efforts for the good of the school.
Ogbolu has been accepted to The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Matthew Berrian of Ashland graduated magna cum laude from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Mass., with degrees in marketing and accounting and finance.
He was executive vice president of finance in the student government and a member of Students for Social Justice.

Peter V. Sager of Ashland has earned a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University-Pueblo.

M. Tye Haeberle, son of Dr. and Mrs. Mark Haeberle of Ashland, was inducted into Washington and Lee University’s chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta premedical honor society.
Members are selected on the basis of interest and distinction in the health sciences. To belong to Alpha Epsilon Delta, a student must have taken three of the four required courses in the premedical curriculum, have a 3.0 grade-point average in science courses and an overall grade-point average of 3.0.
He is set to graduate in 2007.

Shannon Brooke Conley, daughter of Steve and Jolinda Conley, recently earned a master’s degree in nutritional sciences from the University of Kentucky.
She is a 1998 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School.

Christine Anne Malloy, daughter of David and Catherine Malloy of Ashland, received a bachelor of science degree in physics from Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C.

Brandon Gibbs, son of Gary and Jean Gibbs of Ashland, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill.
To qualify, a student must be full time and attain a semester grade- point average of 3.5 or higher.
He is majoring in church music and is a 2003 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School. He is a member of Orpheus Choir.

Kelsey Faye Grizzle of Ashland was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Bellarmine University in Louisville.
To be named, a student must achieved a 3.5 grade-point average or better.
She is a junior communications major and a graduate of Raceland-Worthington High School.

Jose Odicta, a nursing student at Morehead State University, has been awarded the Horatio Alger Military Veterans Scholarship, valued at $5,000.
Alger award students must be a veteran of the U.S. Army campaigns in Iraq or Afghanistan and must meet other criteria.
He is a sophomore pursuing an associate of applied science degree in nursing and an Iraq war veteran who served from March 2003 to December 2004 in Tal Afar. The Army reservist and his California-based unit were part of the Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg, N.C.
