HIGHWAY 140 MUSIC HALL

The Cadillac Ranch and The Hiway 140 Music Hall have merged, and under joint management have opened The Cadillac Ranch Highway 104 Music Hall on Route 104 in Lucasville, Ohio.

Thursdays will feature the Hiway 140 country band.

Fridays will feature variety dance and karaoke.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Performances will be from 7 to 10 p.m.

No smoking or alcohol permitted. Admission is $6 for all ages.



COLLINS COUNTRY CLUB

Nov. 18 — There will be a turkey dinner with all the trimmings at the club. Bring a covered dish.

Every Friday — James Brown will offer free dance lessons, which include the two-step and other line dances.

PARAMOUNT ARTS CENTER

Friday — Open to the public, but reservations are required. The Festival of Trees Preview Party. Cost is $50 per person. The event will be catered by Rocco. Live music, including strolling musicians.

Saturday — Paramount Woman’s Association will present the Festival of Trees. This year’s theme is “Music, Magic and Merriment.” Experience a breathtaking display of custom decorated trees, finely detailed holiday needlework, delectable gingerbread houses, festive table and door decorations, as well as unique hand crafted items. All area available for purchase by bid.

Hours for the FOT will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. Hours for Thanksgiving will be 4 to 10 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults, $3 for seniors and children and free for children younger than 3.

From 10 a.m. to noon, the FOT will present Gingerbread Iron Chef on the PAC stage.

From noon to 3 p.m., FOT will present Battle of the Choirs. Scheduled to perform are as follows: Boyd County Show Choir at 4 p.m.; Russell High School at 5 p.m.; Ironton High School at 6 p.m.; and Rock Hill Show Choir at 8 p.m.

Sunday, 2 p.m. — The FOT will present Gingerbread Workshop in the Annex. Cost ranges from $20 to $25.

PORTSMOUTH AREA ARTS COUNCIL
