BOB EVANS FARM

The Bob Evans farm is open for the season and hosting new exhibits and events throughout 2009. In Rio Grande, Ohio, the farm was home to Bob Evans, founder of the Bob Evans Farms, Inc. The farm is open to the public and offers visitors an opportunity to tour the Homestead Museum and Quilt Barn and attend special events at the farm.

New exhibits are the Story & Legacy of Smokey Bear and the Quilt Barn Exhibit, celebrating Ohio Farms.

July 17, beginning at noon on Judd Plaza — Live music on the Country Music Highway, the ARTS Council of Northeast Kentucky fires up a hot summer with live shows on Fridays during the summer.

The acoustic-comedy duo, ETA (Eddie Riffe and Tony Maynard) will kick off the event with a show featuring Argillite native Roger Smith. “My Life in Song” is Roger’s latest CD recorded in DiscLab will be available. Also the artist of the month will be on display from the Pendleton Arts Center.
