GREENBO LAKE STATE RESORT

Aug. 17 — A night of blues will kick off the Colonel Bill Williams Music Heritage Festival, bringing some of the nation’s best artists together.

Scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. will be KY B3 4; 7:15 p.m. — Greg Schaber; 8:30 p.m. — Rory Block; 9:30 p.m. — Straightway Ministries Choir, featuring Block.

Country and bluegrass music is scheduled for Aug. 18 and inspirational music on Aug. 19. There will be a fiddling contest on Saturday. There is a $10 registration fee.

Tickets are $10 for Friday, $15 for Saturday, $10 for Sunday or $25 for the entire weekend. Children age 10 and younger are free. Tickets can be purchased at the lodge or the day of the event.
