BRASS BAND
OF THE TRI-STATE
Tuesday, 7 p.m. — Christmas with Brass. This event will include special guests, the Greater Huntington Symphonic Band. A $5 donation will be collected at the door. Ashland Community and Technical College, 1400 College Drive, Ashland, will host the concert.

CENTRE COLLEGE SINGERS
Friday, 7:30 p.m. — The Centre College Singers will make Ashland the first stop on their fall tour. They will present a free concert at First Presbyterian Church.

JAMES ARCHAMBEAULT
The photographer will be signing his newest book on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at CoffeeTree Books.
James Archambeault’s “Historic Kentucky,” the fourth in his series of book-length photographic essays, preserves the landscapes, building and sights of old Kentucky as many of them fall into neglect, become irreversibly altered or disappear entirely.
In addition to his text on the early settlement of Kentucky, Archambeault’s captions explain the historical and cultural significance of more than 100 full-color photographs.

PORTSMOUTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Dec. 16, 7:30 p.m. — The joyful sounds of the season will come alive when the Orchestra (PSO) presents its annual holiday “Sing-A-Long with Santa” at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts on the campus of Shawnee State University.
